Awesome Bridge Run weekend with family and gigs!
You never know who you'll run into Bridge Run weekend:
*Special thanks to NBC affiliate WPSD television from Paducah, KY for using my song "Comin' Home".
Great weekend in Knoxville March 28 thru 30th!
Friday night, the performance of "Where the Streets Have No Name" with Doug Shoch's vocals was one of the most amazing songs I've ever been a part of. Doug's pipes were powerful.
Sunday morning at the marathon was so cold, my digits were blue after the first two songs. But it was worth seeing a lot of people I knew personally accomplish their dreams. Way to go guys!
Sunday afternoon was pure harmony...Tall Paul, Jason Ellis, Amy Thompson, Reggie Coleman, Jimmy Ray and more!! It was great being reunited with my all time favorite acoustic solo act...Tall Paul!! It'd been way too long. Great seeing other great musician friends like J. Luke and Joe the Show!
The drive back to SC was long...but I had a lot to reflect and be thankful for. :)
Happy New Year Everyone!
2013 was wonderful...and I thank all who have shared the moments with me at the shows...solo or band. Everything from having the first annual Tailgate for Alzheimer's (the philanthropy that promises to grow every year!), to all the incredible weddings, corporate and private parties around the country, sharing the stage with comedian Frank Caliendo on the USS Yorktown, to having NY Yankee hall of famer Reggie Jackson enjoying a little 'Rocky Top', Wild Dunes Resort moments on Isle of Palms...kids, teenagers and gramps!, East Coast Entertainment helping me reach career milestones this year..both solo and band (and Ear for Music, Lowcountry Music Service and Other Brother agencies as well), the Cinco de Mayo/Pelancho's gigante fiesta, Knox Oysterfest, Downtown Chucktown with the Europeans, my jogs with the Atlantic Ocean, Hamlin Hurricanes tennis, my guitar students, Whitesides Elem. PTA, Little Dante Studio (puttin' out more in '14!), my buddy integrity, the sand sessions, all the amazing musicians I've jammed with this year, my Knoxville and Charleston friends who keep me keepin' on!...and especially my little monkeys and wonderful, supportive and talented wife Christy. ~I'll always be grateful for blessings~
Have an incredible 2014!!! Woo Hoo!!!!
