Here Is A Sample Of A Sand Session Song That Ended Up On An Album. The First Video On The Left Was The Initial Idea Of “Palmetto Soul” Videotaped In Puerto Rico…And The Studio Version (Recorded Later That Year For The Album Kool Water) Is On The Right.

Another Tune That Made It To The Studio Is “I Fell Back In My Black Chair”….Which Was One Of The First Song Ideas For The Sand Sessions videos.

Another One, “Shrimp Boat”, With My Kids On The Boardwalk At Shem Creek In Mount Pleasant, SC One Beautiful Day. It Took Us All Of About One Hour To Videotape The Footage.

I Had An Online Contest With Fans To “Name A Title To A New Dave Song” In Which I Would Write A Tune Based Around The Winner’s Title. The Song “Maybe The Dingo Ate My Baby” Is What Came Out! 🙂

“Good Boy” was a song I wrote the day before I performed it live on WCIV’s “Lowcountry Live” in Charleston, SC promoting Pet Fest for the Charleston Parks & Rec Department.  Of course my dog, Chuco, was on the IOP beach with me as I penned the tune.
