What started out as cassette recordings of originals from my funk band the Sherlock Homeboys in the early ’90’s turned into an experiment with AI in 2026. The band (with amazing drumming and back up vocals from Matt Job) performed high energy shows at various venues throughout the Southeastern US and music conferences during those years….opening up for such bands as the Spin Doctors, Johnny Quest, Hard Corps and Follow For Now. For fun I imported these 8 originals into the AI app Suno…and with a few instructions and tweaks, came up with these jams! It’s all for fun….Play the tracks loud and dance if you feel it. 🙂
