The 2025 Isle of Palms Songwriter Festival will be on Saturday April 12 and Sunday April 13, Times TBA at The Dinghy (8 JC Long Blvd., Isle of Palms, SC 29451) right across the street from the Isle of Palms Beach.

The event is to benefit the Lowcountry Orphan Relief.  http://lowcountryorphanrelief.org, Girls on the Run, and the Lowcountry Music Scholarship

Sean Keefer:
Writing about love, loss, hope and the occasional ghost, Sean is an accomplished songwriter and novel author of legal thrillers.  Sean performs at 1:30pm

Stefanie Potter:
Stefanie is a Charleston-based singer-songwriter, and “artist of the heart,” writing soulful alternative music full of raw human emotion, social consciousness, and therapeutic themes.  Stefanie and her band perform at 2:00pm

Jo Kokri-Bhatt & Chris Boone:

After relocating to Charleston from her hometown of Spartanburg in 2016,Kokri-Bhatt got involved with local
Gospel group The Plantation Singers. She also performed with the party band Bliss and the gospel ensemble
Inspiration.  Jo and Chris perform at 2:30pm

Nathan Davis:
From Charlotte, North Carolina, Nathan’s essence of his songwriting is a harmonious blend of West Coast breeziness and Carolina warmth.     Nathan performs at 3:00pm      

The Letter Show:
They are a local folk/Americana duo formed by George Stevens and Becca Bessinger in 2011.  They recently performed at MerleFest, one of the premier festivals in the country.  The Letter Show perform at 3:30pm

K.B. Reidenbach:
K.B.’s writing developes a strong foundation in rhythm, pitch and tempo that informs his unique musical storytelling.  He’s a multi-instrumentalist and performer based in Charleston, SC…who was also part of an award-winning collegiate a cappella group, and has even rocked a drum solo at the prestigious Carnegie Hall.    K.B. performs at 4:00pm

Doug Walters:
A life long story teller, he humorously and insightfully engages with his audience with charm and style, taking each performance to a magical place.    Doug performs at 4:30pm      

Kevin Fox
Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio Kevin has written over 800 songs including 2 top 100’s and 1 top 20 AC Billboard hit.  Kevin has won a Cammy award for “Songwriter of the Year” and “Best Roots Rock Band.  Kevin performs at 5:00pm

Heather Rice
Heather is a Charleston based singer and songwriter best known for her unique voice and soulful lyrics. She is featured vocalist for the Charleston Jazz Orchestra, The North Charleston Pops, the Orlando Jazz Orchestra, and the Charleston Symphony Orchestra.    Heather performs at 5:30pm

Ronnie Johnson
Ronnie has been wowing audiences for some 30 years now.  Performed in NYC 2 shows for People Magazine along with Chuck Berry, opened for the legendary Tom Jones, and Loretta Lynn.  His song “For Old Times Sake” he wrote went to #75 on Billboard’s top 100.  Ronnie is nominated for Best Vocalist in the Best of Charleston 2024. Ronnie performs at 6:00pm

Kelly Sanchez
Kelly is a dynamic singer/instrumentalist specializing in soul music..playing high-energy funk and neo-soul, smooth jazz classic.   Kelly performs at 6:30pm

Kevin & Lauren
This acoustic duo from Louisville, Kentucky captivates audiences with their unique fusion of soul and country…having shared the stage with Brothers Osbourne, Robert Randolph and The Little River Band.        Kevin & Lauren perform at 7:00pm

Irene Rose
Ranked the number one children’s artist in South Carolina and top ten in the US, Irene Rose’s awards range from radio talent searches and songwriting competitions, to being selected for showcases in both America’s Got Talent and American Idol.   Irene performs at 7:30pm

Bryon Moore
Bryon is one of the head songwriters for Uncle Mingo, a Charleston, SC based funk-punk quintet that melds the party-hearty attitude with good times. They were recently inducted into the Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame.  Bryon performs at 8:00pm   

Mel Washington
Mel’s songwriting expression has always come out as Americana, roots, rock, country, folk, and other genres.  . He’s lived in Nashville, written with famous songwriters such as Wyatt Durrette (Zac Brown Band) and Earl Lee Bud (Garth Brooks), and toured the nation with his former band, All Get Out.  Mel is nominated for Best Vocalist in the Best of Charleston 2024.    Mel performs at 9:00pm
